Reading Review
Title (Chapters): The legend of Sleepy Hollow (10 chapters).
Author: Washington Irving.
Main characters: Ichabod Crane, Brom Bones, Katrina Van Tassel and the Headless horseman.
Who is your favourite character? Why? It is Ichabod Crane, because he’s clever, kind and funny.
Summary: It is about a teacher called Ichabod that lives in Sleepy Hollow. There there was a legend: a man died in a war and he rode his horse without his head, the Headless Horseman.
Ichabod loved Katrina, but Brom (a bad man) loved Katrina too. One day, after a party,
Brom become the Headless horseman to frighten Ichabod.
In the end, Ichabod left to New York to be a lawyer and Brom married Katrina.
Personal opinion: I like this book because it’s interesting, and it has got a lot of adventures and stories about ghosts.
